Designed for my dad Jeff Pittson’s latest track where he plays all of the instruments. He programmed the microtonal flute and tabla sounds with the Aalto synth by Madrona Labs, performed along with a handful of other sounds and samples. He was also inspired by the “Blue City,” Chefchaouen in Morocco, filled with countless buildings painted in bright blue. I had the idea to create this expanding kaleidoscopic effect using photos from the Blue City, as it follows the unfolding musical saga. Enjoy the ride.
